The Impact of Psychological Resilience on Social Support and Subjective Well-Being Among College Students: Implications for Sports and Team Dynamics

Resumen

Objective: To explore the relationship between college students' social support, psychological resilience and subjective well-being, and reveal the role of psychological resilience between social support and subjective well being. Methods: Social Support Rate Scale (SSRS), General Well-being Schedule (GWB), and Resilience Scale of Chinese Adolescent (RSCA) were used and 402 college students were participated in the survey. Results: The social support and psychological resilience of college students were at a normal level; the social support, psychological resilience and subjective well-being of college students were significantly positively correlated; psychological resilience played a completely mediating effect between social support and subjective well-being. Conclusion: The social support, psychological resilience and subjective well-being of college students are closely related. Social support does not directly improve the subjective well-being, but has a significant indirect predictive effect on subjective well-being through psychological toughness
